Good article.
One thing I wonder about... why are more people not talking about the fact that this woman should be taking a moment to look at her family and put her ambitions aside for, oh, five or six years, and take time to focus on her family. With a special needs newborn and her teen daughter about to have her own baby, it's really not the time to take a position where all you'll be doing is traveling places to take pictures with foreign dignitaries.
